No universal recovery assumption
A mnemonic, private key, backup file, account path, and application password serve different roles. The same words do not guarantee the same addresses across wallets or networks. Use documentation for the exact source wallet and network.
Match the network and account
Restore the intended network, account type, derivation settings, and token identifiers. Confirm a known receiving address before interpreting an empty balance. Different chain configurations can produce misleading results in otherwise familiar interfaces.
Network-specific formats
BIP39 is used by many deterministic wallets, but it is not a universal recovery format. Monero recovery uses its own supported wallet formats and can require a restore height. Account discovery and signing requirements must be tested separately for each integration.
Validate every account you intend to restore
A multi-crypto recovery plan should list the networks and accounts it covers. Match known addresses and review the recovered account history with compatible software. Record the evidence separately for each network before treating recovery as complete.
Preserve the full context
Maintain offline records of the wallet software, network, account settings, known addresses, and transaction IDs alongside the appropriate secret backup. Do not confuse a token balance with the native currency needed for fees.
Recovery in this release
This website does not import or restore wallets. A production recovery flow is part of the multi-crypto application roadmap and must demonstrate compatible restoration for every supported account type.
